Yes. Creating an account and playing ShadowRPG is free. You do not need a subscription or a download to start your adventure.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. Play in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer. Sign in to the same account to continue with your saved team and progress.
What do I get when I join?
Your account starts with ₽100,000, 20 Poké Balls, 20 Great Balls, 20 Ultra Balls and one Master Ball. Choose one of 24 starters from Kanto through Galar at Level 5. After choosing, you also receive a random Shiny welcome Pokémon and 200 Mega Shards.
How do rare variants work?
ShadowRPG has eight special variants, including Shiny, Shadow and Golden. Some can appear in wild encounters; others come from specific events and rewards. Past prize variants can become Unobtainable, so their exact forms cannot be caught or bred again unless awarded as prizes. Existing Pokémon can still be traded and evolved.
Can I trade and battle with friends?
Yes. Trade Pokémon directly with other trainers, buy and sell on the player market, and challenge other players to battles. You can also take on gyms, the Elite Four and Battle Towers on your own.

No. ShadowRPG is an independent, unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company.
