1 · Level-Up Evolutions

The most common path. When your Pokémon hits the species's level threshold (e.g. Charmander at Lv 16), an Evolve button appears on its card in My Roster. Tap it to evolve. You can also tap Skip to cancel, battles past the threshold will offer it again.

A few hundred species use level-up evolutions. The per-Pokémon hint on the roster/box cards tells you the exact level.

2 · Stone Evolutions

Use an evolution stone at the Evolution Center. Stones are typically dropped by wild Pokémon (10% from a type-matched wild, e.g. Fire Stone from any Fire-type), see the Item Catalog for sources.

Eevee is the headline branching case - 8 different Eeveelutions, one per stone:

  • Vaporeon · Water Stone
  • Jolteon · Thunder Stone
  • Flareon · Fire Stone
  • Espeon · Sun Stone
  • Umbreon · Moon Stone
  • Leafeon · Leaf Stone
  • Sylveon · Shiny Stone
  • Glaceon · Ice Stone

3 · Gender-Restricted Branches

A handful of species can take an alternate path based on the Pokémon's gender. The other gender is locked to the canonical evolution.

Example: Kirlia (either gender) levels up to Lv 30 → Gardevoir. Male Kirlia can instead use a Dawn Stone at the Evolution Center to become Gallade. Female Kirlia cannot become Gallade.

Combee (♀)

Snorunt (♀)

4 · Multi-Form Level Branches

A few species reach a level threshold with more than one form they can become. You pick which one at the Evolution Center. Canon decides by stat ratio or other hidden conditions; ShadowRPG lets the player choose directly.

5 · Held-Item Evolutions

The Pokémon equivalent of "trade with an item", in canon you'd hand the Pokémon to another player who trades it back. In ShadowRPG you equip the item on the Pokémon, then use the Evolution Center. The item is consumed.

Examples: Ursaring + Peat Block → Ursaluna · Sneasel + Razor Claw → Weavile · Porygon + Up-Grade → Porygon2 · Feebas + Prism Scale → Milotic.

6 · Where to Evolve

  • Level-up: My Roster: the Evolvebutton appears on the Pokémon's card once the level threshold is met.
  • Stone / branch / held-item: Evolution Center, shows every Pokémon currently eligible plus the items you're carrying.
  • Multi-form picker (Tyrogue / Wurmple / regional forks): Evolution Center: pick one form per Pokémon.

Tip: every Pokémon card on My Roster and PC Boxshows a one-line hint of what that specific Pokémon evolves into, so you don't have to remember thresholds or stone matches.
